We certify, staff, and maintain Type 6 engines which are hired under Federal contracts through the VIPR system. This allows us to work for all Federal land agencies who manage fire along with many of the US States and soon Canada though fire compact agreements.
We staff our equipment with one Engine boss and two firefighters to meet minimum standards. Wolf Rock engines have worked on fire assignmentsfrom California to New Hampshire and many places in between!
Wolf Rock FIRE
In 2018 Wolf Rock Wildland Fire was formed and a decision was made to venture into Fire Contracting and we built our first type 6 engine. We are now staffing multiple engines under federal contracts New Hampshire and Montana.
